The area covered by Gimlunga Saga includes Townships 18 & 19 in Range 4 East, 12 miles along the west shore of Lake Winnipeg, from Boundary Creek to Lakeside Road 3 miles north of Gimli.   Included are the districts of Boundary Park, Sandy Hook, Husavik, Sigluvik, Willow Island, Minerva, and Gimli.

Gimlunga Saga will be published in a series of three, large-format volumes featuring numerous early photos and many previously unrecorded stories:

Volume I - Township 18-4E (including the area from Boundary Creek north to Sigluvik)
Volume II - Township 19-4E (from Willow Island north to Lakeside Road).
Volume III - the town of Gimli to 1930

Note: Because of the large scope of this project and the compiler's heavy workload, the estimated schedule for publication of Gimlunga Saga I-III has been altered. Volume I is now slated for print in 2010.
